Honey Babe Range

 Our Honey Babe skincare is a range of quality products created for the care of baby's tender skin.  The range includes Moisture Crème, Barrier Cream, Massage Oil, Shampoo & Wash and Soap.

Baby's skin is very delicate, so these products have been devoloped to ensure they are both safe and gentle to use.

All our products contain Manuka Honey which is unique to New Zealand.  It is acclaimed for its natural antiseptic, moisturising and healing properties making it the ideal ingredient for baby care.  Pure and natural plant extracts, specifically chosen to safely protect and pamper baby's skin, have also been added to enhance our Honey Babe range.

All products in the range are 100% New Zealand made and are free from parabens, lanolin and mineral oil.

KEY INGREDIENTS

As mentioned, the entire Parrs Honey Baby range has New Zealand Manuka Honey, renown for its natural antibiotic, moisturising and healing properties as its focal ingredient.

To further enhance the range we have added a variety of other natural ingredients with additional benefits to baby's skin.  There include:

CHAMOMILE:  Found in our Barrier Cream, this ingredients, which also has antibacterial and antiseptic properties, serves to soothe and calm irritated skin.

ORANGE OIL:  This ingredient works well in our Shampoo & Wash.  With its natural sweet fragrance it calms and relaxes.

SWEET ALMOND OIL:  This softening, nourishing and soothing oil with vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E is found in our Barrier Cream, Moisture Cream and Massage Oil.

ALOE VERA:  As with Chamomile, Aloe Vera is soothing and calming for irritated skin.  You will find this in our moisture creme.

WHEAT GERM OIL:  High in Vitamin E, you will find Wheat Germ Oil in our moisture creme.  This oil helps to keep baby's skin healthy by promoting the formation of new cells and improving circulation.

CALENDULA:  This ingredient has a long history of use for wound healing and skin soothing.  It also has anti-inflammatory properties.  Calendula is found in our Massage Oil and Soap.
(In an article on Skincare for Newborns by David Steinman from the Natural Health website (www.naturodoc.com) it suggests that while plain water usually is enough when bathing newborn children, if soap is required it is best to use a soap containing "...herbal extracts such as calendula.  After soaping, replenish the skin's oils by using a soothing oil or lotion containing saturated oils such as coconut or sesame with herbs such as calendula.  Few babies are sensitive to these").
